Qualifico organizes live visitors into dedicated spaces called Channels. Channels bring order and clarity to the flow of your web visitors.
A channel is used to show the current online visitor that matches a specific criteria of interest. For example: a channel called “Pricing Page” can be configured to show all visitors who are currently visiting the web site’s Pricing Page.
Your Qualifico Admin can create channels under the admin section, from the main navigation bar by clicking on the “Channels” link.
The channels are differentiated by their Filters. Filters are a set of logical conditions which determine the criteria that is used to place a visitor in the specific channel.
Channel Tips and Best Practices:
-
Avoid filter overlaps: You may define a channel with a filter of “All visitors from pricing page” and another channel of “All visitors that are associated with open opportunities”. Clearly, some visitors to the pricing page may have open opportunities associated with them.
- Avoid a Channel with no filters: A channel with no filters will act as a "Catch All" bucket and will surface all the visitors on your website that does not fall into other channels.
- Sort the channels: use the drag and drop capability in the Channels list to order the channels. Channels filters are executed by their order, top to bottom, and visitors will fall into the first channel that meets the filter conditions.
